Someone somewhere is made for you
Sounds like just another bolly-phrase
Somehow I've always believed it to be true
So falling in-line, I waited for my appraise

I always read about Love
But remained untouched above
Today I seem to be one of the rest
Yet find myself all alone to say the best

At times I feel the restlessness
Wanting to verbalise my feelings
Sometimes I enjoy the sweet pain
Thinkin O' God, when for me will it rain

I tend to keenly notice the subtleties
in her reactions
And look for the gleam of reciprocation
even if in fractions

Be it her sweet smile, or talks juvenile
The maturity she displays, for worldly ways
Or simplicity in nature, with a heart so pure
All attracts me to her for sure

Alas! It is so difficult to read her
But there seems no end to the love-fever
God, I leave it to you to decide
All over my heart does she reside!!!

Kuch din ho gaye theek se soye huye,
Karwaton mein thodi bechaini si hai,
Adhura khwab, adhuri chahat ki kashish,
Lagta hai agli mulaqat pe hi neend ayegi...

Samajh pana mushkil hai
Par uski dil ki aawaaz ko sun pane se
Kya hi haasil hai
Jab tak uske liye pyaar ka ehsaas na ho

Uski hansi mein jhalke shabdon ko
Padh pana mushkil hai
Par uski khamoshiyon mein dabey raaz jaanne se
Kya hi hasil hai
Jab tak uske liye pyaar ka ehsaas na ho

Uski zindagi ke khwabon ko
Roop de pana mushkil hai
Par uske ateet mein jhankne se
Kya hi haasil hai
Jab tak uske liye pyaar na ho

Phir bhi use jaanna chahta hoon…

LIFE !!!

I wonder what are ingredients of LIFE
Is it a good family and a good wife
A mark in top league and a successful career
Or heaps of wealth and a seat of power

Though these are necessary to possess
Inarguably, life needs more as I assess

What adds spice are interests and passions
And knowledge to make interesting conversations
Friends around and kindred-ties brimming with love
Who stands by you when others shove

Though it is a fight tough and perennial
Surely life is slightly more than just the things material

Hansi aur aansso ka choli-daman ka saath hai
Ek ka aagman doosre ka palayan hai
Kintu meri yehi bus nitya-asha hai
Milein jab dono saath, usi mein zindagi ka sarmaya hai

Nasaaz tabiyat

Written sometime back i was not doing well -

Tabiyat aaj kuch nasaaz hai
Nose band, throat ne cheda choking sa saaz hai
Sunaiyee nahin padti koi awaaz hai
Fever ka lagta aaghaaz hai...

The day starts so lazy
Boss’s words sound all hazy
Work n meetings make me freak
Quite some time to end the week

Morning today is looking good
Going out with team for food
Weekend is to draw up and close
Looking fwd to masti and fun ka dose
